Day 1 – Interlaken / Meiringen

We will cycle to the Grand Hotel Giessbach, where we will enjoy lunch. There we take a small funicular to the lake to see the Giessbach waterfall. This is the oldest funicular in Switzerland still in operation. Prepare the camera, this tour is a charm!

Right after lunch, the ride continues, leaving Lake Brienz and heading towards Meiringen. This region is famous for the Aare River Gorge – and that’s where we go! We park the bikes for a bit to walk on the walkway and the banks of the river, admiring its emerald green tone.

This days ride is incredible. Now we go to the hotel for dinner, rest and to get ready for the next day.
